By popular request, we are happy to offer custom skid plates to protect your subaru.  Made from 0.190" 5052 aluminium, the plates are light and strong, giving your engine bay the protection it needs from road hazards you may encounter.  We've spaced the rear of the plate down for additional oil pan clearance, added a large front lip that covers the front of the subframe, and fit the plate within 1/2" of the subframe on both sides.  Every plate is hand-cut and TIG welded at our shop in West Kingston, RI to ensure no misaligned holes or other quality control issues. 

We recently released a short run of five plates for GD chassis Subaru Imprezas, and sent our first prototype to International Rally New York attached to the bottom of our 2002 WRX RallyCross car.  After 300 miles of stage rally on gravel roads, including many jumps and direct hits, the plate did not deform or bend, suffering only some gouges and scrapes.  We are now happy with the design and are offering our skid plates to the public. 

We consider these plates a custom product, and will be producing them in small runs.  Pricing for GD Impreza/WRX/STi will be $175, which includes stainless/black oxide hardware and free installation at our shop.  Other applications will be released as requested by our customers.  Please contact us via email, telephone, or in person if you would like to purchase a skid plate.
